On 1 October 2018, Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met Mehmet Emin Kiraz, newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to the autonomous republic.

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly congratulated M.E. Kiraz on the occasion of his appointment as the Consul General in the autonomous republic.

Making remarks on the development of bilateral ties between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and friendly and brotherly Turkey in the economic, trade, military, cultural, educational and other spheres, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly wished success to the Consul General in further strengthening of relations.

Expressing gratitude for sincere welcome Consul General noted that he was honored by his diplomatic mission in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic-the brother country, the only border with Turkey, and therefore he will spare no efforts to develop relations. The opportunities for cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
