15 October 2018, acquaintance meeting was held between Mehmet Emin Kiraz, newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Vusal Alakbarli, Head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Head of Department congratulated M.E.Kiraz on the occasion of his new diplomatic appointment and wished him best successes in the future endeavors.

V. Alakbarli expressed confidence that the Consul General would contribute to the further development of relations between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and Turkey.

Consul General expressed his gratitude for the sincere reception and noted that he would spare no efforts to consolidate relations during the diplomatic tenure in the autonomous republic. The issues of boosting cooperation in several spheres were discussed at the meeting.
