Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vusal Alakbarli met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Azerbaijan Dan Ianku on November 14, 2017.

Deputy Head warmly welcomed the guest and informed him about the duties and responsibilities of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, spoke about the economic reforms and the high development process carried out in the autonomous republic.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the guest said that the energy diplomacy implemented by the Republic of Azerbaijan and as its obvious example Southern Gas Corridor project would have a positive impact on the modern international relations system.

During the meeting, the discussions were held on other issues.
