On 27 September 2018, Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, met Saud Abdul Aziz al-Rumi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly, welcomed the guest and expressed his satisfaction with his visit to the Autonomous Republic.

Making remarks on the works done in the field of development of the Autonomous Republic, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly noted that there are opportunities for the development of mutual relations between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the State of Kuwait, and expressed confidence that Saud Abdulaziz Al-Rumi's visit will be effective in this respect.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Mr. Ambassador said that the acquaintance with the production facilities and historical monuments of the autonomous republic, including the Duzdag Physiotherapy Center, created a great impression.

Noting the attention to the great importance of the development of relations with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, S.A. Rumi emphasized that he would spare no efforts in this area.

        Future opportunities for cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
