On 30 May 2019, Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met with Vanlalvavna Bavitlung, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Sincerely welcoming the guest, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly wished best successes to the ambassador in his diplomatic tenure in Azerbaijan.

Noting the development of relations between the two countries, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly noted that, as part of it, there are links between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and India in the fields of tobacco, pharmaceutical and economic-trade.

The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly stated the opportunities for the development of relations between the two countries in the field of education, particularly the higher education institutions and expressed confidence that the visit will be successful.

Bavitlunq Vanlalvavna said they attached great importance to the visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and thanked for hospitality and sincere attitude.

         Speaking about the development of relations, the ambassador noted that they are ready to cooperate with Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and will spare no efforts in this direction.
