On 11 December 2019, Mr. Vasif Talibov, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met with Mr. Viktor Szederkenyi,  the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan.

The Chairman of the Supreme Assembly welcomed the guest and expressed his satisfaction to see him in Nakhchivan. Speaking about the development of various sectors of the economy in the autonomous republic, the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly noted that there are opportunities for the development of economic, educational and tourism relations between Hungary and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Viktor Szederkenyi emphasized the importance of developing relations with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and expressed his confidence that his visit would be fruitful in this regard. Noting the bilateral relations between two countries, the ambassador assessed the development of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as an important factor of cooperation and noted that efforts will be increased in this regard.

The prospects of further cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
