On 11 August 2021, Mr. Vasif Talibov, Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met with George Dick, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly spoke about the relations between our countries, emphasizing the role of the Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan in the development of relations between two sides. Noting that the Autonomous Republic has been under blockade for many years, the Chairman expressed confidence that after the restoration of communications, relations will expand in various fields - education, health, tourism, agriculture and the application of new technologies.

Thanking for the warm reception, George Dick stressed the importance of his visit to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Speaking about the multicultural and tolerant environment in Azerbaijan, the ambassador said relations would be further strengthened in the future.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
