Young diplomats of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan AR visited Brussels for participating in trainings organized by the Centre of Excellence in EU Studies at “ADA” University. DMFA diplomats were warmly welcomed and informed about the structure, functions, institutions and the international relations with member countries of EU. The role of Brussels in the foreign policy of the European countries, lobbying, media relations have been also on the focus of the agenda. The Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan to EU Fuad Isgandarov met with the DMFA diplomats. He gave a brief information about how Azerbaijan’s national interests to be placed on the agenda of EP and the ways of establishment of daily contacts with EP.

The Brussels visit of DMFA diplomats was the part of the qualification trainings of “ADA” University given to the diplomats of MFA. “ADA” University conducts the training series for the stuff of MFA in Nakhchivan AR covering the political, economical, cultural, public diplomacy, communication skills, diplomatic correspondence and state protocol rules.
