On 17 May 2018, Mr. Vusal Alakbarli, Deputy Head of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met with Mrs. Ingrid Tersman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Sincerely welcoming the guests, Mr. Alakbarli gave brief information about the implementation of foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on account of the Department in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The Deputy Head made remarks on Azerbaijan – Sweden ties in terms of the existence potential for building mutual relationship in touristic and cultural sectors.

Mrs. Ingrid Tersman expressed her satisfaction over kind attention towards the delegates during the visit. Mrs. Ambassador also hailed recent reciprocal visits of the officials from both sides.

Mutually interesting issues were discussed during the meeting.
