On 26 August 2018, Mr. Vusal Alakbarli, Head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic met Mr. Nihat Ershen Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Nakhchivan.

During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation and political dialogue between the two countries.

Mr. Nihat Ershen noted that he made maximum efforts for further boosting bilateral ties and expressed his gratitude for the support towards him during the years of his diplomatic activity.

Head of Department thanked to Consul General for the strategic contributions made during his term of office and wished best successes to him in the future endeavors.
